LUD•XV•D•G•FR• ET NAV•REX• Laureate and draped bust of Louis XV (1715-1774) to left; on neck, countermark: Bernese coat of arms. Rev. SIT NOMEN DOMINI - BENEDICTUM 1769 Crowned coat of arms set on laurel wreath; below, B; to right, countermark: 40 / BZ•. HMZ 2-231a. Nicely toned. Clipped planchet and with some scratches and adjustment marks, otherwise, very fine.
